SAVE 10-35% ON OVER-THE-COUNTER MEDICATIONS!

The Internal Revenue Service has determined that over-the-counter medications such as Smoking Cessation products like NicoDerm CQ can be paid for using the pre-tax funds in your Healthcare Reimbursement or Flexible Spending Account. (IRS Rev. Rule. 2003 – 102, September 3, 2003) More detailed information regarding this important announcement can be found on the IRS web site and on the CHPA web site.

By purchasing over-the-counter medications through your FSA, your savings will be roughly equal to your federal income tax rate. Depending on your specific situation, this could represent a 10-35% savings on products you already purchase.
